When you register we collect your name, email address, username, password (hashed), and optional profile details and business information.
If you connect your Google account, we access — with your authorization via Google OAuth — your business locations, reviews, ratings, and related profile data so the Service can display reviews and post replies on your behalf. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use this data for advertising and do not sell it.
You may add or import contacts (name, email address, phone number) belonging to your own customers, or collect them through a shareable contact form you share with your customers. You are the controller of that data; we process it on your behalf to deliver the messages you send.
We process the content, recipients, delivery status, and opt-in/opt-out status of the SMS, WhatsApp, and email messages sent through the Service in order to deliver them and to honor opt-out requests.
Subscriptions and add-ons are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers; we receive only transaction confirmations and limited billing details from these providers.
We collect log data (IP address, browser, pages viewed), and use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected as part of the SMS consent process—including mobile phone numbers and consent records—will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used solely to provide the messaging services requested by our customers.
GetLocalStar enables businesses to send SMS messages only to customers who have provided their prior express consent to receive such communications. SMS messages sent through our platform may include review requests, account notifications, appointment reminders, customer support communications, and other service-related updates.
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with the business using our Service. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and wireless plan.

Phone numbers and SMS consent records are used only to deliver the messaging services requested by the customer, maintain consent records, and process opt-out requests. We share mobile phone numbers only with trusted messaging providers, such as Twilio for SMS delivery and Meta for WhatsApp messaging, strictly for the purpose of transmitting messages on behalf of our customers. These providers process information only as necessary to provide messaging services and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.
